Between us, we bring over 50 years of experience providing trauma therapy and counseling for high-achieving adults in Southwest Michigan, Michiana, and the Chicagoland area.Â
We help people heal from trauma, burnout, heartbreak and loss.

Your Struggle: Secretly Falling Apart While Having to Hold Everything Together
Have you ever wanted something so badly—a relationship, job, degree, title—that somewhere along the way, you lost yourself?
Maybe you:
Fight Through
Push through migraines while leading the Monday meeting
Keep Up Appearances
Look composed in the meeting while your chest feels tight
Sacrifice
Keep doing all the “shoulds” and showing up for everyone else
Run Yourself Ragged
Wake up exhausted even after a full night’s sleep
Your body is whispering, I can’t keep doing this.
Â
You may have tried therapy before. Read the books. Tried mindfulness or meditation and felt like you were failing at that, too.
Here’s what we know: Success isn’t about doing more. It’s about slowing down, healing your nervous system, and finally investing in you—not so you can push harder, but so you can rest, reconnect, and feel like yourself again.
Concierge Therapy. Real Results.
R&R Change Studio is a private-pay concierge practice for people who want therapy that brings real healing and transformation. You don’t have to perform, fix, or impress here. You just get to be you.

The Transformation:
From Survival Mode to Grounded & at Peace
At R&R Change Studio, we help high-achieving adults move:
- From burnout and constant crisis mode→ to a more regulated nervous system, steadier energy, and real rest
- From people-pleasing and guilt→ to clearer boundaries, self-respect, and relationships that feel safer
- From carrying everything alone in silence→ to feeling seen, supported, and no longer having to “hold it all” by yourself
- From waking up ready for the next bad thing→ to beginning to trust your body, your choices, and your life again
Our work is trauma-informed, nervous system–focused, and deeply human. We’re not here to fix you—we’re here to walk with you as you heal.
This work takes time. Sessions move at the pace your nervous system, and your mind, body and soul need-not rushed, not performative, just real. You’ll leave feeling heard, and seen.Â

For 24+ years, I’ve provided trauma therapy for high-achieving adults in Michigan and the greater Chicagoland region. I specialize in working with high-achieving women and other adults who carry a lot on their shoulders and need a place to breathe, be heard, and truly be seen.
My clients are often the ones everyone leans on—leaders, helpers, professionals, parents—who secretly feel anxious, overwhelmed, or like they’re just surviving their own success.
I’m known for my warmth, honesty, and ability to help people feel safe enough to have the conversations they’ve been avoiding—the ones that finally release years of anxiety, trauma, sadness, or pain.
I integrate EMDR, CBT, DBT, somatic healing, yoga, mindfulness, and expressive arts to support mind-body healing.
Clients say: “Life-changing,” “You saved my life,” “You filled my emotional cup in that love-filled space.”
Robin loves cooking Sunday meals for her family, listening to podcasts, reggae, and spoken word, and riding with her favorite Peloton instructors. She grounds herself through meditation and yoga, and enjoys books on spirituality, growth, and adventure—always making time for laughter with her kids and grandkids and for renewal in nature.
Ron Robinson, MA, LLP Psychologist, Artist, Creator of Beautiful Spaces
For 30+ years, I’ve worked with adults and couples facing trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. As a Clinical Supervisor and certified in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT, I bring evidence-based expertise with a deeply human touch.

For 30+ years, I’ve worked with adults and couples facing trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions. As a Clinical Supervisor and certified in Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT, I bring evidence-based expertise with a deeply human touch.
My approach is grounded in one core belief: therapy works best when you feel truly safe to explore what’s hard. I create space for clients—especially those in the LGBTQ+ community—to show up fully as themselves without fear of judgment.
I’m known for asking thoughtful questions that help clients discover their own answers, moving at a pace that honors where you are, not where you “should” be. My style is calm, steady, resourceful—I help people find creative pathways forward, not cookie-cutter solutions.
I’m drawn to small, beautiful details- rose gardens, real china tea sets. I bring that same intentionality into therapy: thoughtful questions, deep listening, and a pace that lets your story unfold without rush.
Outside of session, I’m gardening with my partner Joe, hosting our legendary annual Oscars party, or curled up with our cat Smokey and a good book. My clients often say my creativity and warmth help them imagine what a fulfilling, balanced life could actually look like.
Clients say: “Calming,” “Deep,” “Different from anything I’ve done before.”
